Geo’s Story

As the geosolutions expert, Geo has been conducting a deep-down, below-the-surface investigation to determine what geosynthetics features are really important to reinforce roadways. His findings began when independent research showed that Mirafi® RS580i geotextile is a superior option to geogrids in roadway applications. Its innovative design creates optimum separation and reinforcement of layers for greater load distribution and well-maintained structural integrity compared to grid alternatives. In fact, the full-scale trafficking study revealed that the woven geotextile, outperformed all other geosynthetics tested

More recently, Geo has been helping put an end to potholes and other water-induced damages by staying “Stay Dri with Mirafi® H2Ri,” our groundbreaking new product. It’s the only geotextile with enhanced lateral drainage and the ability to remove water in unsaturated conditions. Plus, its wicking capabilities are so strong, it can actually move water uphill.
